This retreat in beautiful Puglia gives you the opportunity to recharge your batteries, so essentially needed to manage your personal and professional duties. Here you’ll find the ambience, room and guidance to restore the body-mind balance.
Morning classes will be an vitalising, dynamic Vinyasa practice with a flavor of Fascia Yoga – The Yang. Vinyasa Yoga gets you moving and with it’s many focal points – the breath, postures, sequences - that train the mind it also stills the mind. The Fascia Yoga portion will help us to release the emotions out of the body, because it’s the fascias where we hold the memories of every emotion we’ve ever experienced.
Evening yoga classes will be more restorative and meditative - the Yin. Yin Yoga is an introspective practice that offers a chance to turn inward and nurture the calm, quiet center that is innate in all of us. It is a practice in stillness, patience, and non-reactivity. Holding a Yin pose the subtle release that takes you deeper into the pose is the tissues lengthening, hydrating, and becoming more pliable. Most classes will include pranayama & deep relaxation. We will focus on awareness and the art of being mindful in one's practice. During the week we will also explore some partner yoga / Thai Yoga, guided meditation and optionally find meditation in creating our own Mala’s and / or learn how to integrate mindfulness in our daily life.
Be assured that this retreat is suited for all levels as well for absolute beginners as for advanced Yogis. All levels are catered for and your individual needs will be taken into consideration. The ultimate aim of the week is for you to leave all your stress and preoccupations behind you and nurture yourself, so you can return refreshed, rejuvenated and rebalanced. Relax and enjoy to the fullest in a beautiful environment.

Katrin came to the mat in 2006. she saw yoga as a 'preventative medicine' to address stiffness and to fend off encroaching middle age. She felt immediately at home combining the three pillars of yoga: strength, flexibility and relaxation. Katrin became a practitioner for a couple of years before branching out to increase her knoweldge and experience in the many forms of yoga. Starting her yoga teacher training brought her deep wisdom in the aspects of yoga beyond the Asanas (postures), which she loves to share with her students.
Katrin's approach is for yoga to be accessible and integrated into everyday life, and enhancing general wellbeing to help living life to the full. Her teaching style is at times creative and dynamic and sometimes soothing and relaxing.
Katrin lives and works in Switzerland and enjoys working in the garden and anything that has to be handcrafted when not being on the mat.
Katrin welcomes all levels and can accommodate German, English and French speaking participants.
